Broadcast Journalism at Cal Poly is a hands-on experience- and it has to be. The field of broadcast journalism encompasses not only the ability to write but the ability to tell a story through pictures and people.
CPTV is a student run t.v. station. Students work cohesively to produce a weekly newscast that is broadcast live into the campus dorms. By the time students reach CPTV, they will have extensive knowledge of both behind the scene techniques as well as on-camera presence.
